Counting the lies

John McCain may be trying to sell himself as a “maverick” and a “straight talker” who will tell the truth no matter the consequences, but independent, non-partisan watchdog groups aren’t buying it. But, since he wrapped up his party’s nomination, John McCain has offered more of the same false attacks and smears. To date, independent, nonpartisan fact checkers have published more than 50 fact checks debunking John McCain’s lies and distortions.
The long and ever-growing list will be continually updated until the election, since McCain continues to lie with abandon, despite being called on the dishonesty over and over in the press. He will say anything he feels is necessary to get elected president, honor, truth, integrity be damned!

The genesis of Barack Obama’s slide in recent polls is debatable, but the numbers are not. Is it the Palin effect? A post-convention GOP bounce? The barrage of misleading ads like “Education,” that claimed Obama’s one accomplishment in education was that he voted for sex ed for kids? Or perhaps it’s because of the focus over distractions like “lipstick on a pig.” Whatever the attribution, 50 days from the election, Obama is inserting some urgency in his plea to voters.

Barack Obama’s slide in recent polls was unexpected to him, how could he be prepared and adequately respond to John McCain’s swiping his lead by appointing Governor Palin as his running mate?
Change isn’t about slogans, it’s about substance. If Obama could not handle this how can he handle the presidency next? Clearly he cannot.

Hey, Thenonconformer (sic)!
Bet you feel pretty embarrassed about what you said about poll position now, huh, with Obama leaving McCain in the dust? And you want to talk about “substance” and Sarah Palin in the same breath? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
